we celebrated Moon Cake Festival yesterday. at 12pm, we were supposed to meet up and Ju will drive us to Boxhill. danni told us we cannot be late but in the end she is the one who is late.. as usual.. she cut her hair and her fringe is shorter. Ju and i think tt she looked dumb with her new haircut. heehee.. when we reached Boxhill, there was a huge crowd. it's moon cake festival so many chinese have gathered here.. Boxhill is sort of a Chinese place. i suddenly forgot i was in Melbourne. i like the festive mood over there:). anyway, we took a lot of time to find a parking place and we were worried for Joy who waited half an hour for us. after we met up with Joy, we quickly rushed to yumcha.. had a really good brunch. delicious! then we went to shop for the ingredients for the steamboat for 8 people. after that, we came to my place where we set up the table for mahjong. played for 3 hours and won a few rounds but danni was the overall winner. by 7.15pm, everyone else arrived except wendy. she cannot make it yesterday. so we started our steamboat.. everything was delicious. while eating, we watched Oprah's Katrina special report on tv.. it was so sad. in the end, we couldn't finish the food cos wendy didn't come. and they just told me to keep the leftover. jeez~ anyway, we had a really good time. heehee.. then they helped me clean up also. thanks a lot! i am glad tt everything went well. hee..
