i had the first neuroscience pract this afternoon. it was pretty easy and i spent most of the time chatting nonsensical stuff with the other optom. my group consists of Ju, Aaron and Amanda. i feel a little bit intimidated by Amanda... maybe it's coz i dunno her well. i think she gave pple a rather distant feeling.. but she is fine. at least she is more serious in her work than all of us so she will make sure that we are doing the pract correctly. heehee.. the other grp consists of all the loudest pple in class.. it's pretty interesting but they kept disturbing our group - -!! anyway, i'm grateful tt i'm not in their group :p
after the pract, we went out to celebrate Joy's birthday. her birthday was yesterday actually. we forced her to wear the cute jumper we bought her last year..(in actual fact, danni and i conned her into wearing) and she really wore it today.. she is so gullible. waha..
we went to this jap restaurant and the food served is alright la.. and i'm super full. lynette bought joy's cake and it was marvellous. it's choc cake! i feel like eating another piece but i'm super full so i didn't. anyway, this is joy's first birthday cake since she came over the Melbourne.. heh.. she must be touched ba~ :p we haven't come out in a group for a long time so i really have fun today!! i think we were too loud just now.. i feel HURT when they said i was as loud as Willy or even Ho wah. (joy, i will remember it. )what!? am i that loud?.. ok ba.. next time i will speak more softly. heez. anyway, i had a really good time today. :)
