as usual, today is clinical practice. the morning session was alright i guess. and we discussed how we go about doing refraction. different people have different theories and techniques so sometimes it's hard to decide which one to follow. i guess we need to discover which technique suits us the best ba. it's getting scarier and scarier.. i just dun want to get Alissa as my patient!! heh. i am scared of high astigmatism patients..
i didn't do much during the 3 hours break. i'm not sure why the time passed by so quickly. i intended to study de but in the end, i didn't do much. but Joy taught me how to use the OLD vertometer to find the astigmatism of lenses. heez.. thanks la. and i realised i forgot to ask Anthea where and how to get the dynamic ret charts again. damn!! nanny joyyie, please remind me next time alright? :p
in the afternoon, i paired up with Aaron. i have been in the same pract group as Aaron since last year so we got along pretty well. but he doesn't have a sense of urgency and then i also slowed down my speed due to him.. - -!! in the end, we finished late. and one of Aaron's friend came over and said that she finished ages ago and she said that we are so slow. she emphasized the 'slow' ok. i felt kind of offended. i will make sure i will become a better optometrist than her. i think she doesn't like me and i dun like her too :p
then Julia fetched me back today. hehe.. so thankful for that coz i was carrying a lot of stuff :)
after i got home, i went out to have dinner with Sikyin. she just finished her attachment in Brisbane and so she came over to visit Melbourne and then other parts of Australia before she head back to M'sia. then Vivian (not the optom one) came to join us too. it was pretty fun la. although we are not close friends, it's amazing that we can actually talk a lot~ wahaha.. i think i'm getting more and more 38 liao. then we saw Bo han (also a M'sian) and his gf. he changed his gf!!! this is really big news for all of us coz we knew him and his previous gf were very close and they had been together really long. geez.. dunno what happened.
ly, i was telling them that i am going to tell u this gossip. hehe.. hope u read this entry. waha~
