today is Julia's birthday. happy birthday!!
we had yum cha at Shark Fin House to celebrate Ju Ju's birthday( i will call her that next time.. waha~). it was delicious!! though the custard bun is again disappointing. geez, what happened to all the custard buns!? anyway, i intend to try the one in boxhill after exams. i remember the custard buns over there are better.. heh.
after yum cha, Di and Lynette went off. Julia got to meet her hometown friends to have a second round of celebration. so there's only Danni, Joyyie and me left. we went to watch the Da Vinci code. initially i wasn't willing to watch it today coz Julia cannot join us and i haven't been studying this weekend... but i'm easily tempted so i went along... i think it was not as good as i thought it will be. maybe coz i have read the novel and i can predict what will happen next. furthermore, many parts were missing so i feel that the story is not complete. geez.. i think i cannot go and watch a movie after reading the novel next time coz it's so predictable and usually the movie is not as good as the novel itself. Memoirs of a geisha is another example. anyway, i'm so tired today la~~ coz i haven't slept well last night. maybe that's part of the reason why i didn't enjoy the movie as much.
there is another good thing. Danni and Joyyie went to Country Road with me to see the knitwear that i liked.. after looking at it the second time, i dun think it's nice anymore.. it's good i can save money and dun feel the yearn to buy that anymore. heez.. by the way, i love CUE's skirts but they are too long for me.. wth.
