my cousin has some problems with his eyes. he has a lump on his left eyelid and some conjuntival redness and discomfort around his right eye. i tried to invert his right eyelid but i dun see anything tt's causing the redness and discomfort. then i tried to invert his left eyelid but i failed coz the lump is obstructing. i'm curious to find out what's causing the problems. i wanted to bring him to VCO to see an optometrist so i can learn something at the same time. but i have to study for my exams and i think he can't wait till my exams are over ba. so i decided to let him see a GP which is more convenient though i dun trust GP as much. :p anyway, i dunno why, he went to see his school nurse regarding his right eye today and the nurse just told him tt it's a minor problem and just asked him to get some eyedrop. i asked him to look for a GP but he went to see his school nurse. his school nurse cannot refer him to an ophthalmologist right!? what about the lump!? geez.. i believe the lump is due to viral infection coz he had the same thing last dec. so he will need to undergo a minor surgery to remove the infection. i'm really interested to watch the surgery!! not sure if they will allow me to watch. hehe.. it will be quite fun. how i hope i can bring him in to my preclinical area so tt i can practise slit lamp on him but i dun think it's allowed. (hello, he is not a toy for u to play with.) fine..
