today is the first day of third yr sem 2. we had our first lecture of microbiology today and i find the lecturer pretty good. i thought that's a good start. after a break, we had optics and i still find it a bit confusing though the first lecture was just a revision. my brain finds it hard to switch from too much macrophages and neurons to optical lenses... geez.. what a great difference. anyway, i have told myself to pay better attention to optics this semester coz there isn't any open book paper anymore~ by and large, i still find the first day pretty fun la.. hehe.. saw a few pple who changed their hairstyles. joyyie said that my haircut looks nice!! hehe.. and she added that she hasn't been more honest. wahah.. ok i feel much better about my hair now. :)
after school, we went to the city to buy lynette's present. i dunno her very well so i dunno what to get for her. as i get older, i find that buying presents for friends has become more of a hassle. it's so hard to find something that u think the other person will like. see, we are really sincere coz we spent so much time looking for a present. heh. it's really tough ah. next time just give us some clue alright!!
