i went to Mt Buller yesterday for my skiing trip. and i woke up at 4.20am to prepare myself and i set off at 5.15am to meet juju, her sis and danni. i was surprised to see vivian there as well. so we were only left with di who was supposed to meet us in the city. juju called di at 5.30am (i think) and that's when di just woke up. my goodness!! she said if juju didn't call, she would just sleep through. but luckily she still managed to reach before 6am. phew~ then off we go to pick up joyyie at boxhill. i saw joyyie's dad waiting together with her.. so sweet right? hehe.. when joyyie was on the bus, the first thing she said to vivian was that the tourguide is quite handsome. then i thought... joyyie never learn her lesson. waha~
the bus ride was pretty awful and i was feeling queasy even before we reached boxhill. maybe coz i was sitting by the window. then i can't join in the other conversation too. i couldn't sleep on the bus and i dun want to disturb di(coz can see she is very tired) so i have nothing to do.. except feeling queasy..
finally we reached mt buller but it wasn't as cold as i thought it will be.. it's so sunny and some of the snow has begun to melt. the skiing equipment was so heavy!! then one instructor asked us to climb the stairs!! is it a sort of training!? it was the most horrible 'training' i had done. it's both physical and mental torture coz i was so afraid that i was going to fall over with those heavy metallic boots bound tightly around my feet. i wonder how danni managed to climb the stairs so fast with the ski boots.. maybe coz she is used to wearing boots!? hah. when we were up on the snow, we had a jap trainer who spoke with a deeply accented English. well, i think he is quite nice.. at least he didn't pull a long face when we did stupid mistakes. anyway, skiing was pretty fun. i didn't fall on the 'almost' flat slope but when i tried the steeper slope, i fell two times. i was really afraid when i was skiing at a very fast speed on the steep slope. i just freaked out and lost my control. i think i'm really timid la. and i'm afraid of steep slopes and heights. i can't go to any adventure la. hehe. anyway, falling is actually more tiring than it seems. at least i know how they felt when they fell le so i will be more understanding next time(i dun think there will be a next time..) after that, we were not left with much time. after we had our lunch, we just went sight-seeing and took some photos. (oh i haven't uploaded the photos yet. heh) the cable was so scary at first but after a few trips, i got used to it. hehe. too bad we dun have much time to have snow fight. but it seems like only joyyie and i are interested. by the time my skiing trip was over, my body was aching all over. and all of us were so tired~ and we slept pretty well of the bus ride home.
hmm.. what a long entry.. hehe..
