many people haven't been updating much recently, including me. this makes me feel kind of lonely... hah.
i wore formal attire for clinical practice today and a few people thought that i have clinical observation. then when i said no, kwang thought tt i was trying to follow juliyana's style. wth? can't i try something different? but the shoes are biting my toes. i shouldn't wear it out to the city at noon. i shall just restrict that pair of shoes in the clinic next time. anyway, i just left the shoes in my locker after pract.. hope it doesn't give off foul smell. wahaha.. maybe i have to use some air refreshener...
i did Goldmann's tonometry and i find it easier than Perkins coz i dun have to stable my hands on the patient's face while pushing the probe in. anyway, i found the mires really fast so i was really relieved! then when i did Perkins on Phillipa in the afternoon, i got it really fast too. i was super happy!! dunno whether it's by chance or what.. but anyway, i think i have improved. yeah!! i should try to adjust the pressure with the probe on the cornea next time. BIO was alright i think BUT if u ask me to draw, that will be totally different. it will be so hard!! i can see the fundus but it's pretty dim and the contrast is not as good as the direct. anyway, i'm happy that i manage to see the fundus already.. next week i have to ganbadae.
the technique that is giving me the most headache is direct ophthalmoscopy. i can't see well with it recently. i dunno why!! i can find her optic head but the field of view is damn small that i can't tell the cup to disc ratio. argh!! we should be good at direct ophthalmoscopy already by now but i'm not. i'm damn stressed la!! i have done badly in direct for my mid sem assessment already and things aren't improving at all. what should i do!? dun tell me asian's eyes are easier to see, are they?
come what may, i will overcome them all. must perservere!!
oh yah.. forgot to mention something. after lunch, i went to myer for a while before i head back to the VCO. i went to joyyie's and lynette's lane to disturb them coz i was very bored. and joyyie was so -_- i was like laughing non-stop and i guess we were too noisy ba.. even kwang told us that we have lower the volume.. joyyie is becoming more and more vivian-like le. next time, we will have two vivians. my goodness!! one is enough. wahahaha..
